抄録

The purpose of this paper is to verify what music related educational effect can be obtained by incorporating the aspect of culture of music. The following hypotheses have been proposed. (1) Deeper understanding of the meaning of musical form can be achieved by understanding the aspect of culture of music. (2) The purpose of musical expression activities becomes clearer by understanding the meaning of musical form. In order to test these hypotheses, a situation has been set up so that children would notice the connection between the aspect of culture and the aspect of form of music. Moments in a music creation activity where changes in children's minds could be seen have been analyzed. The result of the analysis shows that the educational effects proposed in the hypotheses were evident.
