Abstract
Heat-island phenomenon is commonly observed around megalopolises, and it is closely influenced by the sea breeze. Recently, the characteristics of sea breeze are changed due to the influence of the heat island in some areas. Numerical simulation using HOTMAC of a three-dimensional mesoscale meteorological simulation model are carried out for the Osaka Plains. Some types of the sea breeze are simulated at the fine day in summer and strong wind in autumn, and the wind field in Osaka plains is analyzed. We show you the effectiveness of FDDA by corresponding index and that HOTMAC well simulates the sea-breeze in the Osaka Plain.
