Description
There are a few female plants of C. anemonaefolia var. dissecta YATABE in the field, but they seem to be a type which is a variety of the dioecious plant. During the season of flowering, the separating ratio of male and dioecious is almost equally expressed, but the dioecious plants are more numbered in ones of the later flowering than that of the early flowering at the period of flowering. The dioecious plants increase more in proportion to the photolepsy. The chromosome numbers show 18 in diploid. The beruberin content is 2.39 per cent in male and is 2.42 per cent in dioecious plant. There are no differences in the beruberin content between male and dioecious plant.
