Description
The high-speed data transmission are required in high performance communication equipment.The accurate and efficient simulation model of the connector is required in the design and development of the equipment.We proposed the new modeling algolithms in which the connector was divided into small parts and the models consist of short transmission Iines corresponding to the various dimensions of the parts.The small,high density multi- coaxial package connector was used to examine accuracy of the model.Simulated TDR waveform and frequency characteristics were compared with experimental results.We discuss with accuracy in the parts of L-bend corner and point contact.The model can be applied to simulation with lumped element simulation like SPICE.
