Description
Real-time parallel machine CODA aims at sensor fusion application area. The CODA processing elements have many features suitable for real-time parallel processing, which are quick task switching by hardware, many priority levels, direct packet and sensor I/O handling, and two instruction pipelines in one processor. By using a simulator based on the model derived from the CODA processor architecture, the paper evaluates its effectiveness of these features.
