説明
1. The metablism of malonate was investigated using the cell suspension of Mycobacterium tuberculosis avium.
2. The cell suspension oxidizes malonate, which is at first step decarboxylated into acetate.
3. The enzyme taking part in the decarboxylation is an adaptive enzyme, the formation of which in the streptomycin-sensitive cells is inhibited in the presence of Streptomycin.
4. The cell suspension of the streptomycin-resistant substrain oxidizes adaptively malonate and benzoate along S-shaped curves similar to the streptomycin-sensitive cells and these oxidations are not inhibited in the presence of Streptomycin.
